Called But Not Formed
Why many begin with passion, but never become stable enough to remain.
Module: Book 1 of 10
About this book
Called But Not Formed is the first book of the diploma program International Diploma in Inner Government and Ministerial Endurance. This book addresses a foundational problem in ministry and spiritual life: many people receive calling, passion, and spiritual desire, but never undergo the formation necessary to remain stable, faithful, and established over time.
Why this module matters
This first book lays the groundwork for the rest of the diploma. It helps the student understand the difference between calling and formation, between zeal and maturity, and between emotional beginnings and sustained spiritual endurance. Without this foundation, many start but few remain.
Open access learning
This book is made available for study as part of the institute’s vision to spread sound formation globally. Students may read and study the book freely. However, official evaluation and institutional recognition follow a separate process through examination and academic progress.
What the student should do
1. Study the book carefully
Read the material completely and take notes on the main principles of calling, formation, endurance, and inner government.
2. Complete the book exam
After studying the content, the student must complete the evaluation corresponding to Book 1.
3. Receive the completion record
Once the evaluation is completed successfully, the student receives the Constancia de Finalización del Libro 1.

After completing all 10 books of the program, the student may proceed to the final diploma process, which includes verification of progress, final requirements, and the institutional certification route established by CLGTI.
Book 1 Evaluation
The evaluation for this book should measure whether the student understood the key difference between calling and formation, why many fail to remain, and why inner government is essential for sustainable ministry.
Recommended structure:
- 5 to 10 questions
- Simple but clear academic format
